Mollie’s Must Haves: miracle hair care

April 3, 2009

kerastaseDoesn’t everyone love “new hair smell?”

Evoking happiness comparable to “new car smell” and “fresh bedsheets smell,” the hair equivalent takes form as you leave the salon. With the wind blowing through your locks, you get regular whiffs of that uber-strong hair product scent, providing a continual reminder that your hairstyle looks a heck-of-a-lot better than it did mere hours ago.

And just like it’s hard to duplicate new hair smell at home, it’s hard to recreate new hair look. The volume is never as big, the style never so perfect and of course, the smell is never as strong. At least … that’s what I thought, until Kerastase Volumactive came into my life.

I have never been so wowed with a product until I purchased the Kerastase Mousse Volumactive. No matter what mood my hair is in (limp, dull, tired), the magical mousse can handle it.

And then, as if things couldn’t have gotten any better, I tried out the Volumactive shampoo and conditioner from home … words cannot explain how fabulous my hair felt! The results were instant and undoubtedly because of the products (I was careful not to fall victim to a self-fulfilling prophecy).

So dear reader, if there are any hair products you should splurge on in life, I would tell you these three are the all-time miracle workers.

Bain Volumactive — $32
Mousse Volumactive — $34
Care Volumactive — $52

To purchase this collection of three, visit Kerastase online, or purchase all the products locally at ANiU Salon and Spa, 2275 Deming Way, Middleton; (608) 833 – 2898.
