Sneek Peek: brava’s spring fashion guide
In my fashion-centered world, the coming of spring represents another glorious arrival: spring fashion! And you, dear blog readers, are about to get an exclusive preview of our spring fashion guide before our April issue hits newsstands next week.
After noticing a strong emphasis on patterns for spring 2009, our team decided to give April’s stylish spread a similar focus. Aptly titled, “Prints Charming,” — kudos to graphic designer Kristin Joiner for thinking up that little beauty — the brava team headed to downtown Madison’s stunning Overture Center for the Arts for our spring fashion guide.
The outcome? A fresh take on mixing prints, having fun with patterns and using bold colors for playful accents. Whether there’s an animal print bag, shocking pink heels or a fabulous studded belt (which I promised would make an appearance!), we’ve served up some serious inspiration for a new spring look from head to toe.
Wondering where we shopped and whom we worked with this month? Be sure to stop at these local outlets to find all the styles and services shown in brava’s April issue.
